If Not Now When?

There is something so wonderful about music. You can connect with the music and lyrics in ways you never knew possible. Sometimes you will find a song that hits so close to home you almost think the artist wrote it specifically for you. I've found songs throughout my life that I've felt that way about, but I've never found a WHOLE ALBUM.

So here's to Incubus.
Your music has done wonders for me. I was meant to listen to this album.

"I've waited all my life
If not now, when will I?"

"I only go where I'm wanted
you go only where you want
I aim to be more like you"

"I'm on the road of least resistance
I'd rather give up than give in to this
So promise me only one thing, would you?
Just don't ever make me promises"

"What's wrong with you is good
For what's wrong with me
And I think that maybe we should stick together"

It's been said there are two kinds of people in the world. There are lyric people and music people. You know, the lyrics people tend to be analytical. You know, all about the meaning of the song. They're the ones you see with the CD insert out like 5 minutes after buying it, pouring over the lyrics, interpreting the hell out of everything. Then there's the music people. Who could care less for the lyrics as long as its just got a good beat you could dance to. Sometimes it might be easier to be a music girl and not a lyric girl, but since I'm not, let me just say this. Sometimes things find you when you need them to find you, I believe that. And for me its usually song lyrics.
